Pallet Size

Pallet has different shapes and sizes, its width and height can be adjusted according to the special needs of the company, are designed for different purposes.

When deciding on the right pallet, you should look at the shape, weight, and size of the products stored on the pallet. The Chinese pallet sizes are different, usually 800mm x 1200mm and 1000mm x 1200mm (120 cm x 100 cm, 120 cm x 80 cm).

There are also many different designs that can be customized according to user requirements.

Some pallet manufacturers can even tailor pallets to meet the needs of companies with very precise or unusual dimensions.

Foldable plastic pallet box is formed of synthetic resin by an injection-molding technique. There are different types of plastic pallets, and their cost and durability vary.

Rotational Molded Plastic Pallets Offer More Advantages

Since our company makes use of the rotational method instead of pressure, the process allows us the use of low cost tools which saves our clients money! It also makes it easy to keep the parameters in control and to correct the thickness of the walls of the pallets during production. Rotational molded plastic pallets have gained much popularity in today’s market because of the versatility that can be offered during the manufacturing phase.

Plastic is more flexible than glass

As you’d expect a lot of factors have to be taken into account when deciding what packaging materials to use for a product. Things like shape, weight, recyclability and cost all have to be addressed. Take the food industry, for instance, where PET and other plastic containers are still widely used. One of the biggest benefits of plastic here is its flexibility. While glass can be shaped to contain a whole range of different products, plastic has even more possibilities. Apart from bottles, plastic can be molded into all kinds of shapes – and quite easily so – such as canisters, trays and containers.

Transportation and storing plastic

Additionally, plastic packaging generally takes up less space than glass, allowing more products to be stored within the same room. Plastic is also much lighter than glass, a benefit consumers who are prone to buy in bulk greatly appreciate. Finally, the weight and space issue is a big deal from a logistics perspective as more items can be crammed into one truck.

Plastic is durable under normal circumstances, which explains its popularity for a wide range of consumer products. Of course, it is also subject to cracking, warping, and melting, among other types of damage when subjected to certain conditions like heat. But there are also plastics that can withstand being placed in a microwave oven and in the freezer without sustaining damage.

In general, plastic can withstand small amounts of trauma. Plastic food containers, for example, can withstand stacking (i.e., nesting) without cracking. They can also withstand being thrown about inside bags and dropped from a low height. They should withstand the pressure without buckling and cracking.

In contrast, glass can easily shatter when subjected to pressure and when dropped from a height. Metal can also become dented, affecting its effectiveness in food storage.

The type and thickness of the plastic obviously affects its durability. Takeaway food containers are usually thinner and less durable (i.e., more disposable) than home-use food containers
